See you in Chengdu, China | November 23-25, 2020

IEEE PES and CSEE (Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering) have reached an agreement on co-organizing the IEEE Sustainable Power & Energy Conference (iSPEC). Parallel with the IEEE PES General Meeting in North America every summer, iSPEC will be held every winter. The iSPEC 2020 will be held November, 2020 in Chengdu, China. The theme of the meeting is: “Energy Transition and Energy Internet.”

We warmly invite the scholars, professors, engineers and students in the field of power & energy to submit your research papers to iSPEC 2020. The iSPEC will bring together practicing power engineers and academics from all over the world. The aim of the conference is to provide an international forum for experts to promote, share, and discuss various issues and developments in the field of power & energy.

All accepted papers will be included in Xplore and indexed by EI Compendex.

The conference organizing committee invites contributions in all areas related to power and energy technologies, including (but not limited to) the following:

1. High renewable energy penetration

  • Uncertainty analysis, modeling, and forecasting for renewables and demands;
  • Planning and operation of power systems with renewables;
  • Stability, reliability, and resilience of power systems with high renewables and power electronics penetration;
